Written and recorded in Regina, Saskatchewan at The
Corner Hotels studio. An electronic and textural album its rhythms, ambient sounds, acoustical samples and field-recorded landscapes lend to a distinctly soulful sound.

It was written shortly after moving from
Victoria, BC to the home town of
Regina. This album is an accumulation of
experiences, events, stresses, successes and
uncertainty.

The following poem titled "Behind the Corner of Light" was written during the making of this album which helped the focus on exactly what the message the music and the album is trying to convey:

There is still life amidst these quiet corridors and long blue shadows. There is still love below the buzzing amber skies, thumping echoes and shivering whir.

Ingratiating sweet rubber dew and oil and dust and grease and pine.

A hollow golden ting, trailing off, stopping time.
